Rise and Shine Yoga with Heather
Awaken ~ Bend ~ Stretch ~ Breathe ~ Slow-Flow ~ Move with more awareness and ease ~ you’ll be glowing all day long! Rise and Shine Yoga is your morning meditation in motion. Start your day in an instructed, well balanced class that offers a centering for the mind, a feel good warm up, moving the body in all directions; followed by mindfully aligned seated, kneeling and standing asanas (postures); shorter, slow-flow sequences; functional core work focusing on core strengthening and stabilizing movements good for a healthy spine; supported restorative postures and a super sweet Savasana that will leave you feeling uplifted and refreshed. To compliment our physical practice, the use of props, modifications, breathwork and meditative practices will be included to balance the energies of the mind with those of the body resulting in an increase of focus, flexibility, mobility and an overall sense of well-being, all within a safe, fun and supportive environment.
