DEEP RELAXATION & SOUND HEALING

GENTLE KRIPALU YOGA
Explore the fundamentals of yoga in a supportive, welcoming environment.  In this class, you will learn yoga postures, breathing, and relxation techniques to build or expand your yoga practice.  Strengthen, balance, and energize your body and mind!  Beginners to experienced students are welcome.  Teachers are trained to help you adapt the practice to support your personal goals and abilities.  You’ll leave relaxed and renewed!

IYENGAR YOGA
Iyengar Yoga is the progressive system of Yoga study developed by Yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar.  When necessary, supports called “props”, such as blocks, belts, blankets and bolsters are used to facilitate learning and to allow all students to progress safely and intelligently based on their specific needs, strengths, and weaknesses. Iyengar Yoga offers useful and practical ways to experience the valuable art, science, and philosophy of Yoga.  Poses are modified to accommodate all levels of experience as well as particular physical conditions.  Students will be introduced to asanas from different families: standing, seated, twists, inversions, and backbends.

KRIPALU YOGA WITH CHRISTY
All levels welcome! This class will give you the opportunity to slow down and check in with your mind, body, and heart.  Kripalu yoga offers self-care, relaxation, and rejuvenation! We will always begin class with a short meditation, then move to warm-ups, then yoga postures, and finally a deep relaxation.

KUNDALINI YOGA
Kundalini yoga is the yoga of “awareness”. It is the science of bringing mind, body and spirit together in a totally balanced experience and includes all elements of the ancient teachings of yoga. This ancient system draws upon the vast body of teachings brought to the West by Yogi Bhajan who is quoted as saying “Kundalini Yoga is the scientific technology of happiness.”

PEACEFUL YOGA PRACTICE
Learn to listen to the body and honor its needs. One day may lead you to challenge yourself physically and another may call for gentle movement to relax the body and soothe the mind. An approach that brings mind, body and spirit together using the postures as tools to release chronic tension and build an awareness that the same things that bring out the best in you on the mat can be applied in daily life.  If you are they type of person who works hard and plays hard, your natural inclination will be to find a practice where you “practice hard”.  Can you open your mind to the possibility that a peaceful practice can bring balance into your life? SOMATIC YOGA:  MODERATE LEVEL
Develop a renewed sense of body awareness in a welcoming, non-competitive setting.  Learn how to combine traditional yoga postures, simple breathng exercises and somatic movement to improve strength, core stbility and flexibility in body, mind, spirit!  Discover how to release tension, back pain and other physical discomfort, which will enhance spinal flexibility, balance and focus in your day-to-day living.  Utilizing these life changing tools, create vibrant health and wellness in your whole being.

Sunday Soul Flow with Doris
Experience yoga as therapy for the spiritSoul Flow is an approachable, moderate yoga flow with a little yummy Yin (60 second holds) and Metta, loving-kindness meditation woven in.
